How to connect the recirculation tube in the YCSH heater
How to connect the cold air tube / recirculation in heating ycsh
As can be seen in the schematic, it is important to respect the order of the components to guarantee correct sealing and operation of the system..
Necessary components
- flexible air tube (Ø60 mm) (included with the heating)
- plastic adapter (inlet Ø76 mm / outlet Ø60 mm) (included with the heating)
- rubber gasket (Ø70 mm interior / Ø75 mm exterior) ( NOT included with heating) can be bought here
- Heating
assembly order
- Enter the flexible tube inside the adapter.
- Place the rubber gasket in the heating inlet.
- Insert the adapter in its housing until it is completely seated.
- Check that the assembly is firm, no gaps or air leaks.
Final result
The adapter must be completely inserted into the heating inlet, with rubber gasket ensuring tightness. The tube must be securely attached to the adapter, no warping or creasing that could restrict airflow.
Adapter Alternatives
If you didn't buy the gasket or you don't have the adapter, ha 2 ways to put tube in the intake.
an option 1
- Remove the heating thread/grid
- Using the same type of tube as the 60mm hot air outlet, they are made 2 small cuts to be able to insert the tube into the thread, without the cuts the tube will not fit, since it has a diameter greater than 65-67mm
- The union is not perfect, can be sealed with aluminum heating tape.
an option 2
- With the heating thread/grid on
- Using a larger diameter tube, such as the 75mm tube
- The grille has a diameter of 70mm, so with two small cuts in the tube, They will help when putting the clamp on so that the tube does not wrinkle..
